Leech Wed. fished a mid lake reef by myself with a good chop by pelican Island caught a nice 22.5″ eye left for another area looking for unders away from the crowds. No other boats by me on this spot it should be good later water temp 58 without all the boat traffic. Fished pine Pt on the way home too many boats for me. Spooks the fish and me.
Is the boat traffic usually pretty heavy? Planning a family trip up there late summer and I don’t like fishing around other boats either. Thanks

You wont have to worry about it much thru the summer, just the first few weeks of season.
Except for opener and of course the other Holidays the lake is so big you can fish by yourself or a small group on the community spots I was out yesterday and not much traffic during the middle of the week only 113.000 acres to explore you can always hide from someone
