Fished below the dam in Redfield for a couple hours today. Nothing but small catfish, probably about 20-30 of them! As I stepped out of my truck though I did see the remnants of a nice 15-17″ smallmouth and a 18-20″ walleye in the parking lot… I really wish they would extend the catch and release black bass regulations down to the Adel dam… I don’t have a problem with people keeping walleye, they are stocked in there to be caught, so keep em if they are of size, i’m pretty sure there is not much natural reproduction on that river.
