riceville housing

just curious what the housing market is like down in riceville? i have an oppertunity for a job there and wondering if its worth the move

ah riceville, fond memories of the annual firemans dance. Not a bad little town. Houseing should be dirt cheap but any acerages in the area get bought up by menonites moving into the area. They are selling their acerages on the east coast for ungodly amounts and coming to NC iowa and shelling out big money for crap farms.

In town would be a different story, dirt cheap.

The Riceville area should be very reasonable. Decent little town with a county lake north of town also that holds some very nice largemouth!!!!

Matt how did the house hunting go?

Riceville is a very nice little town with several conveince stores, couple bars, good school system and a hot little lake that has big perch, crappies , big blue gills and some dandy largemouths. They have a 18″ min. that should be 20 but thats my opinion on the bass as I release all of them.
