My buddy and I took his kids out on Brushy Saturday from about noon until dark. In between taking bluegills off of hooks I caught some nice bass. Gotta love the power worms, “fish bite and won’t let go”. No major injuries to the fish though. I got real good at biting the line, running it out the gill and turning the hook around so it’s easy to remove. Forced dead sticking is what I call this technique. Others might call it fisherman’s Karma, help a kid learn to fish, get rewarded when you pick up your pole again.
