    I’m going to leave this one short and sweet
    Well, fished the Mighty East Fork Des Moines River today. I was accompanied by good friend Jon Matz and mentor Ron Matz (Father).

    Let me tell you it was a great day to be out.
    The first spot we tried produced a bunch of 10″ to 13″ fish one 16″ keeper.
    Casting H2O jigs and plastic produced a few of the fish but the majority of them preferred a chub.
    Ohh this spot also produced a nice drake mallard……

    The second spot on our trip produced these gorgeous ladies.

    What a day, good weather, good company, good fishin, and good hunting. You sure this isn’t a fairy tale?? Days like that dont come along too often.

    Nice photos..awesome fish.
    I really like your first pic.
    With you holding a duck a walleye rod and gun.. really neat idea looks really cool.

    Nice fish Moe!

    What was the spot like? It looks like a gradual mud bank to me but those fish were there for a reason.
