Spent Saturday and Sunday doin “the bob” again below the tube at the res. Saturday was only 3 boats but Sunday had probably 6-8 at one time. Lots of people putting in and takin out. When I got there a fella was telling me that they had been there 3 hours and hadn’t seen a fish caught yet. I said “sounds like yesterday all over again”. I’ve been goin “Meatless” and I must say I am almost ready to cave in and go back to meat. I know i’ll cave in when the crappies start hittin. Anyway, I tried ringworms, sassy shad’s, different colors of all kinds of plastic shallow and deep. Seen some sand on the bank and tried pitchin to it and draggin it back slow also. You name it and I probably tried it this weekend again. Well I didnt do any 3 waying and didn’t try any hair jigs this weekend. Spose that would have been the ticket!!!!
