Auger blade sharpening

    Anyone in or around CR sharpen auger blades? It’s very possible that I’ll buy a replacement set and try to sharpen them myself using a polisher.

    I have alway’s just taken them to Marion live bait where they get exchanged or I wait for them to get sharpened. The ole boy who is 85 years old that does the sharpening may be hanging up the practice after this year. Good Luck {John}

    Both Gander and F&F have replacement blades, so I think I’ll just run over today and get a new set. That will allow me to experiment some with the old blades and see if I can figure out how to sharpen them up.

    Practice makes perfect, you know.
