I took the neighbor kid fishing again this afternoon with much better results this time. We caught 4 fish (1 bass, 1 bluegill, 2 perch) and he brought in or helped on 3 of them (was too busy trying to cast it REALLY far for the fourth). If you thought that his smile was big the first trip, you wouldn’t believe it this time. It was another good day to spend with my little buddy and I was more than proud of him for getting some fish.
Also a reminder to everyone. Make sure that you have spare batteries for your camera with you all the time. I thought I had some, and unfortunately they weren’t in the case…and the ones in the camera were too far drained to even get one picture. 
I guess the only good part is that I am required to take him again so I can get some pictures of him with his fish
