Due to the opressive heat my fishing has turned nocturnal. Went out just before sundown to my favorite rock pile on Big Spirit stayed till around 3 am. Only boated 2 keepers but had steady action all night, few off slipbobbers rest came off a jighead tipped with a leech habging off the side of the boat, enough wind to keep it jigging. Not a steller night but still productive. Hope this heat breaks I’m ready for the fall bite.
