Lake Darling

    Spent the weekend with my son fishing Lake Darling. Water temperture was 61 degrees. We caught alot of small crappies in 5′ of water and two nice largemouths. A 17″ and a 19″er. The geese put on quite a show with some parading their new born around.

    Was the water muddy like I’m thinking it would be after the rain we’ve had? Miami is hot right now.

    Yes, you are right Herb. The water was chocolate milk, but stay and fished anyway. The fishing was better than the catching, but caught enough to keep me happy. I imagine Rathbun was in better shape.
