Palo lake

I drove over to Palo lake last Sunday and it was still froze.. Dang.

Can a guy get in down at Coralville down by 380 at the Curtis access?

I’m up here in Cedar Rapids, I love fishin around here when it aint too crowded. Trouble is the weather has to be terrible for that to happen. I been thinkin of commin down your way to hit the river this year some. Trouble is Im already plannin on spending 4-6 weeks up on pool 4 this year again. Love it up there.

Ttrigger, I headed down to bank fish below the spillway a couple of times in the last few weeks and did some driving around. Two weeks ago, it looked like there was open water through most of the res, but the ramps were still frozen in. The only place where it was frozen all the way across was just above Mehaffey, but that should be open by now as well.
