ave. of the saints lake

    Fished the ave. saints lake tonight to see what was biting. Tried for 3 hours towards evening with ok luck. Caught 17 crappies and 6 gills. Just did catch and release. Lake was up about a foot and muddy but still wasn’t to bad.

    Were you fishing from boat or from shore? Luke, it’s a borrow pit west of Waverly just off 218/27

    I was fishing out of my boat. Prob. going to fish it again this week because the gills are on their beds now.

    good report.. i really need to get on the road and discover some more lakes… gas prices though haha..
