Clear lake

    Any one out there fished Clear lake this year I have not fished it in over 2yrs and heard reports of some good walleyes coming in this year with the average size being 16″ to 17″ pretty good compared to years past.

    I use to live in Mason City and fished crystal lake for largemouth quite often and have caught a lot of 4lb fish out of there one of the best little largemouth bass fisheries in notrhern IA as far as I was concerned. Has anyone been out and about on these two bodies of water? I would like to hear some fish stories.

    In the next couple days we have a reporter coming aboard for some of the Iowa lakes…. and he’s a multi-species guy. Hopefully he’ll have some good info for you.

    We need Tim Harms or Chad Kruse to drop in or some other IWTT guys to stop by. Anybody heard from any of those fellas lately?
