Andy, Steve, and I went fishing at the Delhi dam. The water is really ripping, but it was nice to get on a river again. We were targeting smallmouth, but I did end up getting a nice walleye, no picture though… I wasn’t thinking, just unhooked it and back in she went.
We did catch a bunch of little dink smallmouth. Andy and I were throwing tubes. Steve tied on a BFT 1/16 ounce jig, and a 3″ white twister, and had three in the boat, quicker than Andy and I could say “got any more of those Steve?”
Then we all had them on, and we all caught them.
Andy and I also went to Palo the night before. Andy had a HUGE bass, on, and it “graced” us with a nice jump, as it spit his rattle trap- Then he caught another bass, and I had a big musky follow and nip a bait, and that was it.
I sure wish he would have bit!
Oh well there is always tomorrow!
