I got out on Macbride for a few hours this afternoon. Working very shallow water, I pulled in a few Macbride bluegills and a couple of crappie, along with a small bass. The action was mostly slow, with live bait producing what fish I got. Given the weather we have had lately, that is not surprising. I suspect that as of today, we are about a week behind normal in terms of water temps. Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be mild and sunny, with warmer weather coming later next week, which should speed things up.
