Fishing pics from Nw Ia.

Going to put up a bunch of pics from the 05 season.Hope you guys like them.Had a good year on the water with many quality fish put in the boat and on the ice.My 3 boys spent many days on the water with me and have become some good sticks.Cole and Austin fish very hard for thier age and little Caden is getting the “bug” like his brothers.Children our are future in the outdoors so please try to spend a few days fishing with kids in the 06 season.

This is a pic of a true 10″ gill that Austin caught off a farm pond. Cade wanted to hold it for pics.It was a really neat looking gill,very dark in color.

On to bass pics.I’ve really been having fun the last few years bass fishing for largemouth.I’ve always had fun with the smallies but have tried to become a better all around bass angler as of late.We’ll start with Cade’s very first West O bass.

Nice pics. Ryan I was wondering how old your boys were when you started taking them fishing? I have a 2 year old boy at home and I don’t want to screw up getting him turned on to fishing/hunting! Any info would be great and Thanks again for the pictures! 690reece

Best advice I can give you on fishing with kids is to keep it short and simple.Go someplace where they can catch fish.I started each of my boys around the age of 2 so your little guy should be ready.Best of luck.

Thanks Ryan. Very nice pics and fish. Nate started at age of 2 years old and feels at home only when hes on the water he says. Get them hooked on fishing so they have a ”great hobby/fishing addiction/a happy life” which keeps kids busy and away from the wronmg crowd.
