Boys and I went to explore Paullina Lake again this morning.The lake has been empty for a few days now and the digging out of the catch pond has started.Here is a pic of the catch pond and the work they have done so far.

What’s great about the project is all the under water structure and cover you can now see.A few more waypoints were marked today for future fishing hotspots.

Pretty far from me but I would hope them tires get plucked out of there before refilling. After they get loose and rolling around the shores and stuff, it doesn’t look like a good idea anymore. They were trouble in one of my fishing holes.
I agree on the tire thng. I once saw a huge snapping turtle that got stuck in one and died. Didn’t make me to happy to see this happen just because somebody carelessly tossed a tire in the river.
