Mill Creek drainage project.

    DNR is draining the lake at Mill Creek Park as I type this.The boys and I went over today and walked along the shoreline.The lake is now down about 10′,or half way.It’s hard to believe all the garbage that has been exposed.The boys found a old 5 gallon bucket and put all the old tackle they found in it.Here are a few pics.

    It’s going to be neat to see the lake when it’s done draining.

    Ryan when are they going to refill the lake? Should have the boys make a few rock piles and GPS mark them for later!

    Way ahead of you on that one Todd.Tell Jake he’ll have something in the mail in a few days.I hope they keep alot of the old cover in the lake.They found a bunch of old tackle,sunglasses,and other stuff.It was hard to believe all the beer bottles on the bottom.There were hundreds of old cans/bottles.
