Really good day of fishing!

    Hey all,

    Dad and I went out this morning and wow did we get into some big Bass! It all stated with dad getting a dink on a buzz bait, we fished those for a while and then, we tried tubes, and dad was throwing a spinner bait a while we got to this one fallen tree in the water and dad’s spinner bait got hammered by a huge bass but the bass missed it, so we turned around and really worked tubes and when we got to that fallen tree….WHAM the bass was hooked and the fight was on. Got it in the boat and it was 20in. Guess what happened our scale when to hell. Well we took a picture and let her go. so we went on fishing this bank, and finally we got up around a bend and we fished some more wood until..we go to a beaver hut, Dad nailed a 19 3/4 hawg. Then I put a wolly hawg tail in there and I hooked one it went for 18 3/4. So we fished this bank a little more. Then we hit the other side of the lake and it was really windy, we got up to a oak tree in the water and dad hooked a 17.5 then we fished this bank more and we both missed a few more fish and we came up to another oak tree and dad caught a 18.5 bass and I busted a really nice bass off! And that was our day this morning. We had a blast! (Pictures will come as I talked bout them in the post)

    Nice lookin fish, well done Keep up the good fishin and the pics comin. That is what fishing is about, having a great day with your dad.

    Great pics! What lake you fishing…..those arent walleye so I am not going to steal them from you , always nice to know where folks are fishing though. Again, great pics!!!

    Just wondering…..guess I will never know. Oh well, I never make it to NE sections of the state anyway…..still good looking fish!!

    That shoreline looks awfully familiar, but I would’ve never guessed the lake I’m thinking of would hold hogs that size.

    Thanks…..7lb fish from a farm pond….died in a summer kill a year or two later. Made me sick.
