As all of you know the farm pond fishing this time of year can be lights out. With a holiday week-end upon us I decided to stay away from the IGL’s and hit a farm pond instead.
The bass were up in the shallows and the gills were very active. The first pic is of a awesome bass that fell to a #5 orange/gold wally diver.I caught this fish on a UL rod and it was a blast.
    Enjoy,

Here is another fine bass that fell victim to a 3″ Powertube. These fish were caught shallow and put on a great show for us.

Daaaannnnggggg! SHORTS? Is it that warm up there? If those fish were so shallow, I’m surprised they weren’t spooked from the sun reflecting off those white legs. LOL! No seriously, excellent pics! The wife and I are shooting up to Spirit this Tuesday afternoon – Thursday night, If I see you out there I’ll run ya down and say howdy.

Boy —- Those fish really grew since we fished there in January !!!!!! Great report. We caught 50+ Walleyes and quit counting Perch at 40 in the Fort Dodge pond on Saturday….Love to see the kids catch fish
