Cedar Report

Got out Thurs.for three hours,waded out to one of the local holes.Water was very clear when I got down there but as time went by so did water color to about 6″ vis. I could also feel the water temp. change, sort of cool. Anyways no fish to be told but taged into something that I had a hard time turning but lost it, sure was fun just hope it was a carp like I’m telling people .Felt good to be on moving water again good fishing.

Thanks for the report. I was think of trying below the dam in Cedar Falls for a while. Its the only spot I know but I have taken a few walleyes there in the past.

Guys have been taking a few eyes in the deeper holes around W’loo. Very subtle bites. Just drifting bait with splitshots. I’ll be out Saturday, maybe I’ll see some of you locals. Look for my big brown dog. He’ll find you.

Spiltshots, I was going to try that and talked myself out of it.Going to try to go Sunday. Can’t get out Saturday but if I go across the bridge and see ya, I’ll stop in and say hi. There will be a Yankee hat on my head, Good Fishing!
