Well, I spent this AM bass fishing out at Pleasant Creek and found the bite to be pretty good even with all the wind. The odd thing I found was that I caught more Musky than Bass. I hear tale of Musky being the fish of a thousand casts… Well, I had a dozen before 11.
If you are a Musky kind of guy you best get out and experience the bite.
All fish came on bass tackle… Can you say Husky Jerk!.

How big there JC? There was some musky activity last night also.
Most were from 2.5 – 3 feet long. The one I lost looked like a fricken shark. I turned him a little and he was running from the front towards the back and most of the head was out of the water and the wake was like a Jet-Ski.
Truely the biggest I have seen out there. My guess 50+ inches. If I had some steel wire I would have been able to get him in the boat.

Jeremy, its been quite awhile since I fished Pleasant Creek, am I a fool to think I can put a 202 Crestliner in there, or are the ramps not worth the effort? If so, which one? Thanks, Mike
The main ramp (come into the park, turn left) can handle anything I’ve seen. We put a 24′ sailboat in there once no problem.
