We were out yesterday PM and tried the River in Algona, no one was getting any ‘eyes, but we went over to Smith lake and got some nice perch that were crazy for minnows.
Late in the PM the wind got brutal blowing across the lake and was kind of bone chilling in spite of our layered clothing.
It was fun and enjoyable for wifey and I.

No ice but it wuz might cold to the feel. 
what side of the lake? are all the weeds dead.
The weeds are not the problem that they were earlier. We fished the south side dock area.
The west dock area is blocked off so can’t get into the camping area. That west dock is good too, but can’t get to it.
