    Congrats to my pal Randy. Personal best largemouth caught Wednesday afternoon on a swimbait. 6.1 lbs 22 incher. Assuming this is a female, how much more would it weigh in the springtime? Fish was released. Way to go H0le!

    (inches x inches x inches /1600 = Lbs.)

    That is a “TOAD”! I would say spring time, full of spawn it would be close to 7 lbs for sure!

    A female largemouth will gain between 20 and 30% of her body weight in eggs.

    So she would weigh roughly 1-2lbs more when full of eggs.
