Fellow Iowa anglers,as you all know the Iowa forums have little or no traffic at times. There is only about 10 of us that check in day to day.Lets all try to do our best to get the word out about this great web site.

Ryan, I ussually do this via pm’s and email. Out of common courtesy I don’t like to advertise competing websites when visiting other sites.

I agree that its tough to do. I still like the guys at IowaOutdoors.com (I assume we are talking about that crowd) but this site is clearly a better fishing forum.

Its hard to come out and say that on the other site, it just has to happen via PMs, emails and word of mouth. Thats how I got here.

The other site has been down quite a bit. It would be nice if it was easier to find us while surfing. At first glance this site appears to be Minnesota only. You really have to look hard to find Iowa down here at the bottom of the page. Perhaps the internet gurus can figure out a way to make it easier to find? Beats me; not my area of expertise.

This is great Ice John. We ”ALL” learn from each others sharing. These forums are for ”Everyone ” to post away and share and talk fishing all you guys want. Its free and its your forum so it will become whatever everybody wants it to be. The more people sharing about fishing reports, fishing techniques, fishing products, how they catch their favorite fish etc the more we all learn. We are all like a big fishing family here so everybody please feel free to talk away.
    Thanks, Bill

Bill, if I ever get a chance to fish again, I’ll probably put something up. I don’t think I’ve been out since the GTG at PDC.

John, make sure you get Dave P. down south to that pond.He keeps talking about going with you. Boy if he ties into some big redear’s he’ll never want to fish for gills up at home.

Herb, both you and I need to get our acts together. lol. I missed the ice season this year due to disk problems in my back. I wanted surgery to get it over with and back to fishing but Docs said no this time and had to wait it out to get better. Long wait but am looking at getting back on the water now and making up for lost time. Spring is here so lets get out and fish!
    Thanks, Bill

I tried sweets marsh this morning for a bit without any bites. The water was up a good amount. I also saw a lot of dead bluegills floating by the boat ramp. Make sure you keep me posted on when they start biting down south John, I’ll be sure to hook up with you.
