The last couple of days the snow and high winds have made it almost impossible for anglers to get out on the water. Before this storm front moved in people were having excleent success throwing crank baits in shallow water along the rip rap of flooded roads. The moving water areas around the bridges have also been producing some nice eater walleyes and most guys have been using jigs tipped with minnows. Night time temps are expected to drop into the mid teen this entire week and when the wind dies down it could freeze some of the smaller shallower lakes. Most of the small ponds in the area have already frozen. Ice Fishing is just around the corner!
