We will be going on a family fishing vacation this june when the kids get out of school. This will be our first time on devils lake and I was wondering about what crankbaits to bring and also what colors. I see that you troll and cast them which ones are best for trolling and which are best for casting. I have lots of bobbers and jigs just wondering about what crankbaits to get.
    Thanks
    Joe

The number 5 shad rap in an assortment of colors is about all you’ll need. I used the glass chartruese and my buddy used hot steel for our whole trip almost. It’s a great fishery and if you are into bass fishig, you’ll feel right at home casting in the shallow trees. If you have any other questions, send me a PM. I don’t watch this forum too much.
