Our sportsman’s club here at college is looking at renting a sleeper house on Devils Lake. What kind of fish can we expect to catch in early February? Are there any resorts that have better houses or provide better fishing? I think most of the people are looking at catching a lot of fish, so perch or numbers of walleyes would be great. Anybody have some ideas?
Perch I hear go nuts up there. There used to be a train that ran from St. Paul up there and then brought ya back and hotel was all included I believe not sure if they still do that but I bet someone here could give better info. Thats a trip I would like to make. We were up there to build a casino a few years back. and it is unreal how much and how hard the wind would blow.
Amtrak has a daily route that runs from LaCrosse to Fargo. I believe this is the route that is often called the Perch Express.
