3 used St. Croix Avid series rods for sale. $125 each and all are in great used condition. Only reason for selling is I started building my own rods so these are garage queens now.

I can get pics and serial numbers (for exact age) posted on Monday. The two spinning rods are current models, probably 3 -5 years old. I think the casting rod is around 10 years old.
I also have a custom rod that’s built on an avid blank if anyone’s interested in that. It’s super boring looking but extremely lightweight and functional. This custom spinning rod is a year old and I’d sell it for $150.
Blank is St. Croix 3S66LF – 6’6″ light power, fast action. The grip is an EVA foam Tennessee (no reel seat) split grip. Guides are Pac Bay Minima reduction guides and light wire fly runners. Thread is all black.

Serial numbers start with JJ (October 2011) for the 6′ m/f and JK (November 2011) for the 6’9″ ml/xf. That is the dates they were finished in the factory, and I know the 6’9″ is at least 2 years newer than the 6′ so it must have sat on the Scheels rack for a couple years. Serial number for the casting rod is DD (April 2005) and no pictures of that rod yet. The custom was built last spring and I’m still using it so that’s why the reel is on it.
Avid’s have lifetime warranties through St. Croix.
