Frozen Tip Up bait

Just wondering if anyone on here knows of a place in the west metro that has frozen smelt or herring for sale. I am heading up to Devils lake on Wed. night / Thursday morning and plan on fishing on the way up so wont be stopping at any bait shops until Thursday afternoon. Just curious if there was any options out there……Thanks

Not on the west side but I know Vados has them. Otherwise you might want to chek cub or another grocery store. Not sure what the bait laws are in ND but it might be an option.

Frozen bait you are fine you can’t bring any live bait that was not caught in ND over here though.

I went to Brothers Meat and Seafood in Osseo last year and found some.

Thanks guys, we ended up finding a 24 hour grocery store in Grand Forks that had some frozen Herring, we picked up a couple packs and for the heck of it we grabbed a couple packs of the cheap-O Bar-S hotdogs. When we set up our 12 tip up spread we used 6 herring and 6 hotdogs, we were chasing flags all morning, and we ran out of hotdogs before herring….It was a fun day of chasing flags. No monsters but they were all 26-32″.
