Frozen smelt?

    So my brother in law and his buddies are heading to LOTW next weekend and they want some smelt for dead sticking. Any advice on bait shops with smelt in the greater Wadena/Detroit Lakes area?

    Following as I’ll be up there the same time. Never bought smelt but we typically have pretty good luck getting bait in Baudette.

    Morrie’s in Motley? Although, I don’t think you can use it for bait without a VHS certification.

    If your going through grand rapids, 1000 lakes has vhs certified frozen smelt,at least they did last time I was in there.
