Frozen or Salted?

I trapped a bunch of Emerald shiners not sure how much longer they’ll keep. Do you guys prefer your shiners frozen or salted and frozen and why? I appreciate all replys.

I salt them and then freeze then

Any do or don’ts on salting and freezing? Dry salt or brine, also about how long before freezing being emerald shiners?
