    Anyone watching?

Omaha vs Providence, ESPN 3 on DISH ch 143

Good to see Dean Blais making it big. Omaha is mostly freshman and sophomores, bright future ahead.

Sioux vs Boston tonight. I feel this is the championship game…

Still waiting for the first goal but some good back and forth. It’s good to see some Minnesota players even At these farther away State schools.

Turned it on 0-0, turned it over to try to catch the Traevon Jackson on BTN, turned it back on I got it taping and bam… 2-0 Providence. One of our neighbors’ sons played for Blaise and graduated two years ago, so I was glad to see they had made it two weeks ago, watched the last bit of that game as it caught me by surprise (Ya know, no quality college hockey TV anymore now with B1G hockey). Hoping this last ten minutes gets Omaha back into and tied with Providence!!!

His last name is not Parise. It just sounds like it.

    Parisi

Jankowski played like a 1st rounder. Impressive player.

Sioux down by 1 near end of 1st. Boston U looks tough, at home too…

The Boston/ND game was interesting. How about ND’s second goal? Talk about a goaltenders nightmare. Barry Melrose obviously has a man crush on Jack Eickel. Should be a good championship on Saturday.

Sioux looked like they all had the flue! Very disappointing loss.

That got old and fast… While I like Melrose for commentary, that was hard to listen to.

For me the game came down to Hobey Baker finalists performing great (Eickel) versus average (McIntyre). Sioux certainly tightened things up at the end but just couldn’t get their mojo as they did all year.

Providence vs Boston U for the title. The east rules, this year.

What a great first goal by Providence. I don’t really care who wins, I just want to see some good hockey.

Fastest 2 goals in college history. 4 seconds.

    BU up 2-1.

The interview with Jack’s dad was funny. Chewing the gum hard with a strong Boston accent.

Definitely a man of few words. My wife says “he was rather blunt”… He’d make a good fishing partner…

As a current UND student, that was a frustrating game to watch. We just didn’t bring it the whole time.

However, I can’t tell if I’m watching the nation championship or the jack eichel fan club…. I’m about to turn it off.

Barry Melrose needs to stick to the NHL,He is absolutley the worst college hockey color commentor on TV.
He must get a scouting packet shortly before going on air, he can not provide any usefull insights, comments or information other than what he read from in the report.

Was great to see Omaha peak and make the Frozen Four. They are really young and should be a powerful team for years to come. New arena being built right now, just off of the lower campus, going to be a really strong recruiting asset, plus exposure to the big time stage will help also. Went to a couple games last season, can’t wait to get into a more intimate arena.
