Hope you all had a great week. Now it’s time to reflect………

In all my life I can’t recall lawns burning up in May & June. Hopefully there will be a good soaking rain soon.

The Vikings without a good running back seems un-Vikingish to me. Cousins has enough problems without removing the running threat.

Funny how people like the new Vikings GM and he hasn’t really done anything other than clean up Spielmans mis-steps.

Detroit as a NFC Central contender…. jester that sounds like a April fools joke.

China Doll is starting to make the old Fat Kid look good.

Enjoy your evening & weekend. toast

Be interesting to see where it goes. Most guys can’t help but look at train wrecks. This will be too passive for most except BK and he’s out playing Huck Finn.

It will be 4 weeks tomorrow since we had rain. Not a drop. Yard is looking pretty pathetic.

I could care less what my yard looks like, the crops need the rain bad though.

Yep lawn looks like hell, only way the garden is surviving is daily watering.

We are going to have record low water on the river in the same open water season as we had record flooding. I saw 79.9 degree water temps today on June 9th.

The Vikings will be fine without Cook. Kwesi seems like he’s definitely not content to “go for it” with this roster and mortgage the future. Last year’s playoff game made it pretty clear they were the product of a bad division. Even with Cook, they are so far away from the Eagles, 49ers, etc that it makes sense to save the cap space and start working on the JJ extension.

The Twins will win the division. My guess is they finish as the only team over .500 in the central, at 2 games over.

Stage 3 drought is likely by the 4th of July, if not sooner.

Mayfly hatch last night on Pool 4. That’s about 4-5 weeks earlier than most summers. Usually it seems to take several calm days and nights and water temps in the high 70s…which is exactly what we have had a month early.

Lawn burned up in May the past 2 years in a row, this year it’s still green as can be.

Anyone who pays attention at all knew dalvin was gone halfway through last season.

    Carry on

Over here in the SW part of the state we have been able to catch a shot or two of rain every week. Just enough to keep the yard growing and green. The crops are coming a long nicely.

I’m actuality amazed at the corn in my area that I’ve seen, it’s doing OK for getting about one shot of rain maybe once a week. Been watering the garden daily but the lawn looks like late August.

Update: I can see a few clouds in the mostly sunny skies.

    This is a major change.

I got about 1/3 of an inch of rain today. Most rain I’ve had since May 30.

    Only 4 inches behind now…

Drove through flash floods on 61 in cottage Grove, haven’t seen rain like that in June in years. Got home just now, ground completely soaked. Where do you guys live that it’s so dry? Metro and southeast got drenched tonight.

79% chance of a soak yesterday on multiple sites. today……..0. does not look like anything in the 10 day either. was really hoping to pick crawlers tonight. if there is anything i learned after this years forecasts is to not plan around proposed “scattered storms”.

looks like i will save on gas for the rider. aside from the sauna few weeks ago it is pretty routine pattern this month. wife took a year off from gardening is looking like a good call i guess?

    Looks like a beautiful weekend…….enjoy it guys/gals!

I’m near Elk River MN. Gotta be close to a month without measure able rain here. And of course today with the system moving through, we didn’t see a drop.

I got 30/100s yesterday. Got the rain gauge out as it started raining. Last week must have gotten 50/100s since it rained much harder.
