I believe BestBuy recycles those tvs for free up to a certain size. I was able to do that not that long ago but as with anything it may have changed.

You might as well post it on Facebook.

Nobody will take it, obviously. But it will give you an entire weekend of entertainment while you reply to people asking for the exact dimensions, will you deliver, will you load it, will it fit in a Prius, etc.

when I was a young’n we had an old zenith black and white tv,when the picture would go out we stomped the living room floor and it would come back on.
my moms sisters about died laughing when they saw that happen one day and they would show up regularly to see it done again and again, such shame !!

back to the post, do you have to stomp your floor to get it to work??
does it have remote capability you can trick with snapping scissors shut like the old Curtis Mathis jobs??
does it include a fish bowl where the tube used to be??
    any fish still in it???

sure would bring back a lot of memories if it did !!
    jk,not interested.

Iowa I;m sure you recycle it as an open closed sign with a remote on off and with your talent a used boat prop for a wind generator. Its almost got a home now we need transport. You can thank me later for the help.

dang blang no good galoot !! ya done gave away my new idear for making wind power with used boat props !!
ha! no ya didnt,I was going to gang a bunch of them together and put them in the creek near the shop, now if I can make a 1/8 mile long driveshaft to reach that far !
now to keep it quiet from pita so I dont get in trouble for building a creek chub chopper !! and then there is the possibility of electrocuting everything within a mile of the generator, sigh, idea shot in the head afore I even get started.

    LMAO – That’s hillarious.

IDO needs a “free things only” and a “ya, it’s heavy” forum.

I was just thinking about memorable childhood games.

Would it still scramble some HBO late night for me so I can play “guess the body parts”?

Your price is way to high, my uncle’s cousin said he found a new one way cheaper than yours.

But, will you hold it for me? I should be by your way sometime in March.

Put it at the end of your driveway with a sign for 20 bucks. If its free no one will take it but for 20 bucks someone will steal it.

That’s F’N hilarious. So true. When I lived in Milwaukee, any old appliances, TVs, ovens, fridges, washer and dryer. You put it in the alley by the garbage cans and the junk man would pick it up within an hour. I swear to God those guys had a network of scouts working for them. They would be there so fast.

Tube TVs may be big and heavy and ugly, but this is the only type of TV you can play Nintendo Duck Hunt on.
