Many seniors are unaware that The local United Way Organization has trained volunteers that have sites to do tax prep for no charge, at least in the larger communities. Before I found this out we were paying $100.00 every year and now 0. They have trained people that volunteer and then another person double checks the info and then file it for us. You can call your local United Way office and ask, it’s free so worth checking into.
