Made it for nephews, guess it’s a bit intimidating grin Only about 13″ high:???:

Don’t want to throw it, located in robbinsdale. Has some ramps for backside that’s removable. For those parents out there who have good health insurance waytogo

That takes me back to being a kid in the late 80’s. My Huffy would’ve crushed on that ramp.

Ha your generation… roll Back in my day I got the factory made Schwinn Apple Crate. Bad ass…with the ape hanger handle bars. High end though with the front and rear shocks so you could really ride over the cliff.

Came in different colors too, Pea Picker, Lemon Crate, Cotton Picker… shock

Wow Andy, that’s what the rich kid in our neighborhood had.
The first bike I got was from SA on 44th and lake. Green generic type, it did come with the high handle bars and banana seat. If I remember correctly it was under $30.

Yeah, my dad was a high level executive so we did get the “nice things”…but he grew up through the depression so his behavior with finances was bizarre. He’d drive 10 miles out of his way to save a nickel on a gallon of milk. One day I have to tell the story of the first fishing boat we bought. lol

BTW, is this you? All the cool kids had the sissy bar. razz

That’s a lot fancier than our 2×8 propped up on a hay bale that I used.

Speaking of ramps, did anyone catch the “Evel Live” show last night? Growing up Evel was my hero. Can’t tell you how many crashes and wrecked bikes we went through in the 70’s. Would not change a thing.

Pretty cool if you missed it.

Nick, can you take a video of you using that ramp to jump over your boat? Looks like a nice ramp.
So about 4 weeks ago I bought my son a BMX bike and had to take my childhood bike out of the shed. I wanted to teach him to do a bunny hop. My first one was only about 2” off the ground. George ask what was that? My second one was about a foot and the third one was about 2’ off the ground. When I landed the 3rd one I hurt my ankles. Getting old sucks.

If I attempted that nowadays the boat would probably look close to it’s current state (refer to heartbroken thread) doah

Kudos on the hops, more than I’d want to pull off right now.
