Fred's Beds

Anyone on here have any experience with Fred’s Beds on LOTW? Planning a trip in January and wondering if anyone has used them.

Nels runs it, great guy and his house are great too. I’ve been going up there for 5 years with him. One early ice and once late March. And the past 3 years he’s hosted a group of Iraq War Vets I bring up there. His houses have plenty of space, has generator hook ups, TVs And he is doing heated external outhouses now .You meet up at Morris Point and head out from there. I’ve been as close as 4 miles out to as far out as 20miles (trip distance) with him. Roads are plowed and easy to navigate. He just opened up a little shoppette that has coin operated showers. I like to hit the bite in the morning in the house and take the portable and jump around just to get out and hit different parts of the lake and then head in and get the evening bite. He definitely takes care of us.
