Franchi Affinity Review-12 Ga

As you know from my other post I recently purchased a Franchi Affinity 12 gauge auto-loader with the 26 Inch barrel.
We shot approx 50 rounds through it yesterday with no hickups. Both my buddy and I were murder on the clays with it.
    Doubles didn’t stand a chance.
In direct comparison with my similar Benelli M2 it was not quite as smooth but it was lighter and balanced more forward. Trigger pull is a little stiff but I think that will take care of itself and not need a trigger job. the safety was just right and not too stiff like it was on my M2 requiring work. We only shot trap loads and used the improved cylinder choke tube. With a 7 year warranty and seeing it in action I think I can safely say this is a fine auto-loader and for $700 you would be hard pressed to find a better value. I now have the backup gun I always wanted and will be putting it out front on a hunt or two.

I picked up a franchi intensity this summer very similiar to the affinity but it chambers 3-1/2 shells. So far I’m very impressed with this semi auto. I’ve got about 200 target rounds through without a hiccup. Very solid guns at a fair price point.

Remove barrel and forend. Then remove end cap retaining ring. Do it carefully with your hand over the end to catch the spring. At that point the plug will come right out. Reverse.

I have been on edge about new upland pair.
Thinking about 12 and a 20 in the new Ethos
Currently have a montofetro 20’and a browsing gold in 20 ga.
I see the need for a lightweight 12’for late season.
    Current 12 is a 101 over under
Just returned from a week in ND , mild weather and no snow, the birds were not grouped up.
Lots of sharp tails and Hungarians
Has anyone added a sling to the new Ethos?
