It is ripping at the seams in 2 places. I emailed their customer support and have yet to hear back. Any quality issues with their products? I noticed it was made in China (as is everything now) and suspect a quality control issue.

Ice suits are not durable…That’s just the way it is right now.

    Have someone stich it up.

I am on season 3 with my ice suit. It still looks new and it has been well used.

I had my seems blow out after about 3 uses last year. It was a PITA to get a new one because I ordered through Amazon. I ended up getting it this fall, which was fine because it happened late in the year last season.

From what I have read, the stitching is really hit or miss on these. I love the suit when it is in one piece, I just hope it lasts this time.

As far as contacting customer service I would do it by phone. Emails just don’t get the attention that a live call do. my .02 cents

I posted a while back about my Frabill Snosuit. The stitching in the crotch/butt area of my bibs let loose after about the 3rd use. I emailed their customer service from their website and got a reply back the same day. I provided them the requested information (pictures, reciept, etc). They have discontinued the Snosuit and don’t repair them. They have a 2 year warranty. They offered to replace both my bibs and jacket with the I-4 series. IMO this series isn’t as heavy duty as the Snosuit. I am planning to keep the Snosuit and bring it to a place that does alterations to have the seam fixed. Frabill wasn’t willing to reimburse me for the repairs. My only option was to exchange the Snosuit for a new model they still have in stock. Unfortunately, I don’t think they have an equivalent model to exchange for the Snosuit (fabric thickness, etc). I wish I had more options with them, but they were very responsive for me to deal with.

I have a frabil ice suit and it’s also on the 3rd season with no issues! The only problem is it’s almost to warm unless it’s near zero outside! I always have the parka off while walking any distance! The durability is far superior to the blue genz suit I went through in a season!

I fish 110 days a year, it don’t take long to notice wear. I’ve owned 3 suits.

I purchased one of the Black/grey IceArmor suites when the 1st came out with the Artic Armor zip in jacket – maybe 8-9 yrs ago? I have beat the snot out of this thing including 0ct-Nov musky fishing. Hands down one of the, if not the BEST investments I have ever made. I have NEVER been cold and not a single tear, rip, or zipper breakage. I’m sure they are not what they used to be, but I wouldn’t know.
