fox river white bass near omro

    Wanting to know if the white bass are biting yet in that area. Would like to take family up there to fish but long drive and only want to head up there with them if they are running. thanks

    A couple of my friends who live in that area were just out a couple of days ago…. both of them said it was not yet.

    A friend fished the bridge at butt de morts Sat caught 4 eye and a dozen smaller white’s.

    Hey Jenn, I fished the Wolf right in Fremont on May 23. We killed them on 1/32 bucktail crappie jigs(white/red). They were bunched up near shore around the bigger boat docks. Four of us caught 177 in 6 hours,(2 boats).

    During the RCL tournament I fished the fox from the 41 bridge down to Lake Winnebago and did not get any whites but tons of sheephead especially at the 41 bridge. I did see alot of little silver fish caught at the head of the lake but Im not sure if they were whites or not.

    Fished out of Rainbow Park on the 21st and we caught all we cared to clean. We fished up toward Winnebago and caught most on flies.

    I was out with a client on the Wolf fishing the Rat river mouth area 5/30/11. All the WB we wanted once we found an active school
