Found Video with Panoptixs done by Indepth outdoors How will Livescope help ?

    Found video about panoptix for great lakes anglers put out by Jason from in depth outdoors. No mention of name of transducer on the back of the boat.

    Now that Livescope has come out, how can this be beneficial for great lakes trollers?

    Would LVS 32 transducer be mounted on transom?

    I find it rather annoying when you contact the makers of the video “indepth outdoors tv” about panoptix and they refer me to the forum?

    The livescope transducer is intended to be mounted onto a trolling motor.
    A lot of guys are mounting it on a DYI pole system.
    The video you are referring to, their ducer is likely the PS30 or PS31. That transducer can get mounted on the transom but it only does downview.

    Not sure but I don’t think IDO is running Garmin on their boats anymore, could be wrong. They still may have some info on it though.

    Thanks everyone for the response.

    It annoys the hell out of me when I email the company and instead of telling me what they’re using in the video, they tell me to post. Emailed the person in the video and the prick didn’t respond.

    I’d say he is far from a prick, from my experience meeting him and him meeting me on my time to purchase a ice house from him. I’d go with maybe a busy person. I get it if you just want a answer on a transducer I wouldn’t want to go to a forum either. But what I’ve seen he has been a solid person

    That said look in to Aaron weibe and watch his uncut angling videos on the transducers
