I caught a decent set up today on Pool 2. If you or anyone you know can describe it, let me know and I will return it.

Btw, it was the only thing worthwile we caught today. Saw some fish get caighr, but it was slow for most people.

LOL I was just thinking about Mike’s St Croix up by Pike Island. Yea, it’s probably a little corroded by now.

Now Dave if you dredge up a jig or 12 there’s a real good chance that it’s mine. jester

I lost a rod by Pike Island with my daughter too! The river is a magnet for gear.

This one was fresh, couldnt have been there more than a few days, maybe weeks.

I managed a to catch some cluttered fishing line from the confluence today. Those snags suck!

Gee whiz, must be that darned “flow” that kills walleye appetite?

It sounds like he is the owner. Thank you all for your help, I will figure out a way to get him the rod. I told him I am keeping the jig.

At the risk of sounding a little corny….

There’s a lot of divisiveness and anger in the world right now. Plenty of stuff out there that involves people yelling at each other and being very angry.

So it’s great to read a thread like this where a bunch of guys help out another guy who likes to fish the river. This is good stuff, and frankly it made my day. peace

This is awesome…..I caught one of P2F’s reef runners (and it still had a fish attached) last summer and I’m not returning it.

    Now I feel a little bad……nah.

I think people get rods back more often than one would think. It helps when there is a name on the rod. Too bad my net didn’t find it’s way back to me. grin
