Posted this in the ice fishing area but thought I’d put it here also.
Was out on Lake Harriet last night and on my way home around the lake found an auger that was left behind by someone. Hit me up with a description and I’d love to get it back to whoever it belongs to. Was on the side of the parkway on the lake.

I suggest posting this to the /r/fishingminnesota and /r/minneapolis subreddits. Maybe r/twincities too. A lot of young guys fish these city lakes and are more likely to be on reddit than here.

Somewhat unrelated, but while at work Thursday I was driving around Harriet(at 3pm) and there were literally 20 fish houses out there all around the lake. Most I have ever seen.
Yeah, it’s definitely picked up the last 5 years or so. But, don’t tell anyone, the fishing can be pretty good. I sent an email to Diamond Lake Hardware, closest bait shop, hopefully find the owner. But was talking with my buddy. We were wear of the rose garden and found the auger between us and the band shell. Didn’t see anybody fishing between us and bandshell

Maybe leave a sign at the landing with your number on it. Not every one uses the google machine.
Give it one more try here. Reached out all over the neighborhood, bait shop, even walked out on the lake a couple times when I saw houses close to where I found it. Anyone hear anything? Thanks.
