Out on fort peck due to the border closures and everything going on. I’m totally clueless to this body of water and would love to target Lakers and walleye. We are staying at lake ridge. Any advice would be much appreciated

Hows the ice? I called a few days ago and they said pretty much walk on only.
Also, if you are at lake ridge, they are pretty nice people and will help out any way they can.

If it is walk on only, I would try out from the dam walls. Almost straight out from the 4 big pillars?(whatever they are). Navionics is pretty accurate out there, will get you close.

Plenty of ice, over 15 inches. Some shorelines are a little sketchy but people are still driving four wheelers out here. The dam is the only place that is not safe that I’ve been around. We’re catching a few but it’s been slow. We’ve just been out of duck creek

Your probably hitting it just at the end. Won’t be much longer with the warmer weather coming this week.
We really considered it for next weekend but didn’t want to get over there and find we couldn’t get on the ice.
