Ford F-150 Topper

Looking for a Ford-F150 topper. Box is 6.5 foot. Make is a crew cab. Wanting a silver color to match body of truck. I’m located in western wi. Thanks!

Hey as it seems quite a few of us are having similar problems I’ll put mine out there. 18 Ram 1500 crew cab, I’m pretty much to the point I don’t think toppers for such exist, but I’d love to be proven wrong (hopefully with one that’s available anyway )

Spoke with another sub on a job who waited 6 months for his topper for a 150. Apparently the resin is hard to come by for the fiberglass on them he was told.

I ordered a Leer for my F150 around July and was told it wouldn’t be done until around November. At that time I was told it was an aluminum shortage.

Not holding my breath for it to be done. In the meanwhile I bought a cheap soft tonneau cover from Amazon to keep the bed covered.

Lots of shortages on products and supplies.

Your aluminum is coming from China. The vast majority of it in the world comes from China and as everyone knows the overseas shipping of goods is at best in a terrible spot currently. Many of the components in fiberglass resin come from China as well.

We are all getting a tough lesson in supply, demand, and globalized economics.

Another poster was talking about this with me a few months ago and didn’t understand as their specific topper was “MADE IN THE USA.” I had to remind them that essentially means it was assembled here, and the components for it were made elsewhere.
