Forced Vacation Next Week

I need to find a job in the private sector. This is the last straw.

Interesting that people are willing to shut things down over people here illegally, despite it effecting it’s citizens.

The government doesn’t actually shutdown. Those are big words used to scare the people.

The private sector isn’t immune to forced shut downs/vacation days either…

I’ve had plenty of them.

For all intents and purposes parts do shut down. Our funding is frozen until funding is put back in place.

Now if I was an actual government employee I wouldn’t care because they’d give me back pay.

So call it whatever you want. There are people still fighting for people here illegally over natural born citizens.

Don’t worry Pug, it won’t last long. The last thing the government wants is for the voters to see how unnecessary alot of these jobs are.

The nice thing about moving is there are a lot of staycation opportunities and places to visit. Maybe I’ll check out the herd of sea cows at Blue Springs. After the cold snap, there is bound to be a lot of them.

The money is always there, but it has to be approved by law, either by a budget deal or continuing resolution.

I used to be in your shoes.

There’s a lot of Federal employees that are actually considered contractors. A few even wear a uniform like I did. And no, as a “contractor”, I didn’t get back pay after the last shut down.

Serving was my pleasure, so I’m not complaining, just stating a fact.

I wonder how China would repossess us? Think they would send the little fat guy from North Korea or the mafia guy from Russia?
