Team WayBaye shares a video of an early morning walleye trip.
Checked in at Everts Resort for the latest info and then off to watch the sun come up.

With water levels high, and still climbing, how has the bite been? We are planning on coming up early next week for a couple of days. None of us have fished in that much flow before and it seems intimidating.

Quite simple really, just find the current seams that has a dozen boats stacked up on it and get in line. Drift same speed as the current. Minnows and plastic has both been producing.

Another option is to fish P2. No need to get in line because there are hardly any boats fishing.

From Everts there are 2 miles of water up to the dam and about 11 miles of water to the head of the lake.

There are fish down stream in places where you would be the only boat.

Good luck out there today guys!

    Great video. Looks like fun.

Water levels are up for this time of year but still just average for what the river is a good part of the year.

Looks like water levels up river of pool 4 have leveled off or are stating to drop again. Would expect pool 4 to do the same pretty quick.

Nice video, I have watched a few of their videos before.

Observation though. Seems awfully dark to be running around with no lights on the boat.

The boys love to fish, and do a pretty darn good job catchin’ em!👍😉. I’ve had my butt reemed by Dnr for same situation “can see all things just fine, very well paying attention, but not quite legal light by the book.” I now have lights in even when I’m likely in the clear, I owe that to other boaters, even if I completely know what I’m doing. But I’m not gonna bust these boys balls on it, ethical sportsman out there absolutely lovin every second of it.
