I am selling my 3 year old Frabill predator. It is a great shack, big enough to fish 3 people, front and back doors, fully insulated, Hyfax, towbar, [clam] cover. The year I bought it, frabill had a shortage on covers and you couldn’t buy the cover for this shack all year after the ice show. So I ended up going to marine general and finding a heavy duty clam cover that fit perfectly. I wanted a function able cover for that ice season so I chose the clam cover. This frabill is an awesome sled for towing behind a wheeler/sled/SXS. It’s not the sled to pull out by hand which is why I’m selling it.
It has a major flaw. There is a heater melt hole in one side. I left the heater a little to close while I was drying it out after a snowy trip one – biggest idiot move I’ve ever made. To fix it structurally, I used aluminum angle and flats to reinforce both sides. It’s structurally sound but obviously doesn’t look pretty. The price reflects this problem. The ice house is in mint condition besides the burn. This was a $700 ice house when I bought it plus about $125ish of accessories (cover, hifax, tow bar)
