Better or worse for who? It’s better for the IDO community…like signing Matt Cooke.

Since you responded, couple of questions.

Are the smilie faces a thing of the past?
Can you get my old avatar or do I need to dig to find the link?

#1 WHAT IS THE OBJECT OF THE FRIENDS BUTTONS?
#2 WHY ARE YOU NOT ON THE FRONT PAGE WEARING DARK SUNGLASSES?

Sorry Jr, I don’t have time to answer either one of them right now.

Just didn’t want you to think I was ignoring you. (

Brian, you can upload a new avatar by going up to the HOWDY BRIAN HOFFIES up in the top right corner and going down to EDIT Profile.

Then up load your avatar just like sending an attachment in an email.

There’s even an option to crop the photo. This works well for removing unwanted people from the photo like I did with mine. Looks much better with out Jeff in it.

Maybe I am one of the few still having very slow loading speed issues with the site? On my end or is it the site still in the “works”?

What I see, after the wait/slow loading of each page, is good! LOL I have never been accused of being patient though…

    Mr. Steve,

Speed is top priority with the development team. That came directly from the guy that pays the bills finger tips.

Here’s a work around for the bobber indicators and answer Jeff question in part as well.

    Thanks PUG!

    Here’s a little tip.

I know a lot of people including me are lost and finding it very inefficient to browse the site now that the little bobber icons are gone that used to tell us topics we’ve read or topics with new posts. It also is a little annoying we can’t go to the newest reply after the last we read in a topic when we click the topic link.

If you go to your profile first (click your username next to the “logout” button), clicking through the tabs like “Forums”, “Activity”, “Messages”, etc will help indicate some new things for you to look at since the last time you were on the site.

There are also sub tabs just below the tabs when you click into them.

The posting activity seen under this tab is only of your “friends”.

After seeing the title of this thread, I thought for sure we were going to be voting on whether Joe Mauer’s DL stint was…………

The verdict is not in for me yet. I’m a creature of habit, i like my steaks and Windsor the same way every time. I do not embrace change very well.
I’d leave a sad face smilie here if I could.

People get older and (mostly) improve as time changes them.

Technology gets better only by change.

The “Curmudgeon” user name has already been taking and there’s one in line for it already if it ever becomes available. LOL!
